BODY PREP OPERATOR - B SHIFT (NIGHTS) (Muskogee, Oklahoma, United States, 74401)

Primary Objective

Maintains flow of raw materials through body prep process.

Major Function and Scope

• Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.
• Loads raw materials into hopper.
• Maintains flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.

Quality Control

• Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.

Equipment Monitoring and Reporting

• Maintains equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

General Duties

• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stands, uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.
• Walks, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Sometimes sits, climbs or balances.
• Lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Exposure to a wide range of temperatures.
• Exposure to noise level is usually loud.
• Exposure to some degree of physical hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
• Good oral and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
