About the role
Body PE - Process Engineer for a temporary assignment in Princeton, Indiana. This is a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Process Planning
- Machine Specification Creation
- Machine/Equipment Procurement
- Installation/Trial Management
- Quality Analysis, Adjustment and Improvement
- Project Management
- Schedule Control
- Budget Control/Cost Reduction
- Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking
- Leading equipment projects from concept to launch for new model projects, capital projects, refurbishments projects as well as plant competitiveness projects
- Assessing the impact of model changes on process equipment and systems to establish technical change requirements
- Close collaboration and relationship building with internal and external groups across Toyota including TMNA Production Engineering Project Leaders, NAMC's Pilot team, Logistics, Maintenance, PEPD, and others
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods to support tooling modification and installation projects
- Ability to travel to support work at machine vendors and Toyota manufacturing locations
- Strong CAD skills (Catia / Carrot 3 / AutoCAD) modeling experience
Experience
- 1-2 years Automotive/Manufacturing Hands on Engineering Experience
- 1-2 years Project Management Experience (Toyota PE Experience highly favored)
- 1-2 years Tooling Design, tooling procurement / jigs and weld tool experience
- 1-2 years Automotive or Body Welding Experience, new equipment procurement, new product launch
- 1-2 years Robotic Experience

- $35.00 - $45.00/Hr
