This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with claims experience who are looking to expand their knowledge and build a successful career in Bodily Injury claims. In this role, you'll receive hands-on training while partnering with experienced leaders and adjusters to develop the technical, investigative, and negotiation skills needed to effectively manage bodily injury claims. What You'll Learn During Training Investigate bodily injury and uninsured motorist bodily injury claimsReview police reports, medical records, and claimant statementsDevelop an understanding of liability and coverage analysisLearn medical terminology and injury evaluation techniquesGain exposure to claim negotiations and settlement strategiesUnderstand regulatory requirements and claims best practicesBuild strong documentation and claim management skillsLearn how to evaluate and resolve early bodily injury settlements Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations of bodily injury claims by gathering and reviewing relevant documentationEvaluate claim facts, policy coverage, and liability exposureCommunicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and other involved partiesReview and analyze medical records and billing documentationMaintain accurate and timely claim file documentationAssist in evaluating damages and determining appropriate settlement valuesComply with company procedures, state regulations, and claims handling guidelinesMonitor demand deadlines and ensure timely claim resolutionCollaborate with supervisors and leadership on claim evaluations and settlement recommendations What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance industry experience preferredMinimum of 2 years of frontline claims handling experiencePrior auto claims experience requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn and apply medical and legal conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong negotiation and customer service abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systemsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Fast-paced, paperless, technology-driven work environment.Overtime may be required based on business needs.Occasional travel for Small Claims Court appearances may be required.Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.Frequent use of a computer, phone, and claims management software.Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and team members.Occasional standing, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds.Ability to review detailed documents and medical records with close attention to detail.
