Bobtail Propane Delivery Driver

About the role

Provide propane delivery service to residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck on local route
Install residential/commercial above ground and below ground propane tanks
Perform propane related service work
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled
Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain electronic trip-logs
Ensure appropriate preparation/completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets

• Ensure appropriate preparation/completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets

Requirements

• CDL Class B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes
• Safety First Minded
• Experience preferred, not required
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical, and company administered road test
• High school diploma/GED
• Delivery experience a plus
• Clean driving record 3+ years
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable using computers

Qualifications & Education Requirements
