Bobcat Diesel Technician

Atlas Bobcat, part of the Atlas Companies, is hiring full-time Service Technicians to join our team in the Chicagoland area. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues on Bobcat compact construction equipment using manufacturer diagnostic software and tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Complete service repair assignments in a timely manner.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
• Keep the Service Lead informed of current and potential issues related to service repairs, parts requirements, and customer concerns.
• Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• General mechanical knowledge and experience; hydraulics, electrical, or drive systems experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in construction, industrial, automotive, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to manage time and attendance; must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.

Pay

$25-$35 per hour based on experience.
