Boat/ATV Sales Outfitter Full Time

Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage all customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner.
• Meet with potential customers to determine their boating and/or ATV needs.
• Provide information to allow customers to make informed buying decisions.
• Maintain current product knowledge using available resources (e.g., product brochures, Internet, training meetings).
• Stay aware of advertised items, pricing structures, and promotions.
• Adhere to selling skills training and direction.
• Work cooperatively with the Service Department to ensure seamless customer delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and personal information.
• Prepare the showroom each morning, ensuring proper signage, cleanliness, and presentation of products.
• Generate and manage leads and prospects in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool daily, including entering new customers and documenting follow-up activities.
• Participate in special events such as Boat Shows and Parking Lot events.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork within the selling process.
• Meet and exceed individual monthly sales goals based on employment status, schedule, and historical sales.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computer systems and Point of Sale register systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods.
