About the Role

City Barbeque is looking for individuals to join our team in back-of-house positions, including:

• Prep Cook
• Boards (our barbeque term for meat carver)
• Pits (working the smokers)
• Dish Washer

• Provide great hospitality for guests
• Work in a fast and independent manner
• Cross-train and work multiple stations
• Follow proper recipes and procedures consistently
• Maintain high standards for food preparation and sanitation
• Take initiative and help others to contribute to the team

Daily tasks to promote teamwork include:

• Arriving on time for each shift and practicing proper time reporting
• Completing hot food prep assignments accurately, neatly, and according to sanitation guidelines
• Collaborating to prepare takeout and catering orders in a timely fashion
• Following station checklists and cleaning lists consistently and thoroughly
• Maintaining a positive attitude when interacting with teammates and guests
