Board Operator
Responsibilities
- Run the control board
- Follow station format
- Arrange and play commercials and IDs according to the program and commercial logs
- Follow applicable laws and FCC regulations
- Help administer contests
- Answer listener phone calls
- Screens listener calls for live shows
- Operate satellite receivers
- Carry out EAS tests
- Other duties as required by management
Qualifications
- Previous experience running a studio board
- Experience editing play-by-play highlights and interviews using a digital editing program such as Adobe Audition, NewsBoss, or Pro Tools
- Previous radio experience running a soundboard, booking guests, writing and editing audio
- Experience as a radio board operator, preferably at a sports talk radio station/network
- Experience with digital operating system (Media Touch, Audio Vault, Enco or Profit)
- Team player, computer savvy, and flexible to work different shifts, including weekends, overnights and holidays

Pay
The anticipated starting salary range for Boston-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $15.00/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
Schedule
This is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station. Must be available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, vacation fill-in and holidays.
