Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive initial evaluations to determine functional capabilities and rehabilitation needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor objective, holistic, and culturally sensitive treatment plans aligned with client discharge goals
- Provide minimum-to-maximum assistance during sessions to facilitate client success
- Create group and individual activities focused on recreation, leisure, health, and skill-building
- Deliver individual and group music therapy sessions integrating music therapy theory with psychodynamic and psychotherapeutic techniques to empower clients navigating neurological recovery
- Help clients build coping skills, improve self-regulation, enhance self-esteem, foster meaningful engagement, and build social connections
- Partner closely with the clinical team, families, and caregivers to ensure integrated care
