Board Certified Behavior Analyst - School Based
About the role
We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team in our Philadelphia and Warrington, PA schools. This role is responsible for developing and administering applied behavior analysis (ABA) assessments and interventions for students, including program development, supervision of ABA services, staff development, and training for staff and caregivers. You will actively participate on a multi-disciplinary team and engage in marketing and philanthropic activities to promote and develop the program within Merakey and the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee all behavioral treatment programs to meet the varied needs of clients.
- Identify individual needs for treatment using skill acquisition assessments and functional behavior assessments.
- Develop comprehensive, individual behavior treatment plans for individuals with autism and related disorders.
- Provide required supervision for treatment plan implementation by staff, including direct supervision of treatment activities, with frequency determined on a case-by-case basis per BACB guidelines.
- Conduct regular consultation with therapists and caregivers to review treatment progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Oversee all data-driven processes related to progress documentation and advise changes to treatment planning when progress is lacking.
- Direct intervention with the child when therapists are unable to manage behaviors or when treatment progress is minimal, modeling effective intervention strategies.
- Consult with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, external stakeholders, parents) to collaborate and coordinate services.
- Conduct supervisory functions, including training, scheduling, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of assigned staff such as registered behavior technicians and behavior technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification or BCBA eligibility.
- Pennsylvania BCBA licensure.
Pay
Up to $85,000.
