About the role

This is a unique opportunity for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in a clinic setting to clients ages 2-18 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and/or related disorders. The BCBA will develop and monitor treatment, provide consultative services, and collaborate with families, team members, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT), as well as training and support for caregivers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and supervision to all areas of programming, including training Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Develop, facilitate, and train in ABA using discrete trial training and natural environment training models.
• Train caregivers to support generalization of skills in home, school, and community settings.
• Coach team members on developing proactive, strength-based, family-centered ABA treatment plans, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Support Plans.
• Create ongoing data collection systems to establish baselines and programmatic efficacy, analyzing data frequently to guide programming.
• Conduct norm-referenced and criterion-referenced assessments (e.g., Vineland, VB-MAPP, PEAK, AFLS).
• Meet with supervised staff to discuss ongoing consumer issues and provide support.
• Review and sign off on treatment plans and behavior support plans written by Behavior Analysis Trainees.
• Set discharge criteria and support generalization plans.
• Serve as a liaison to families, ensuring satisfaction with service quality through frequent check-ins.
• Complete progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) within 24 hours of service.
• Provide consultation to Child and Family Team (CFT) members regarding behavior intervention strategies.
• Train CFT on implementing teaching strategies.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians.
• Assist in developing supervision protocols aligned with Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, research, and continuing education to uphold BCBA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a field related to Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Licensed behavior analyst recognized by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
• 1 year as a BCBA (preferred) and 3 years of experience working with children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorders or related disorders.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report, and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance meeting employer requirements.
• Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification (provided by employer).
• Initial negative TB test result (provided by employer).
