About the role
Little Spurs Autism Centers is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to children with autism and their families. Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care plans based on each child's unique needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and comprehensive support for children with autism.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and progress.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as special education, early childhood education, or psychology.
- Experience working with children with autism or related disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism.
Skills
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and its associated challenges.
- Proficiency in using evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
