Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School Based, North County

About the role

Ro Health is seeking a BCBA to join a school district in the San Diego area. The position will start immediately and may extend into the next school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and general classroom support for students with special needs.
• Train RBTs and assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, principals, and parents to develop and implement strategies for student goals and needs.
• Support students' academic and emotional needs by serving as a positive and nurturing guide.
• Assist teachers in managing student behavior within the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Provide direct services to students in various classroom settings and train staff on student behaviors.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• BCBA Certification
• Strong assessment skills
• Willingness to assist in students' learning process
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Great interpersonal skills with children

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs district-wide
• Comfortable working with physically aggressive individuals

Skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
