About the role
BCBA Intern – Client material creation and preparation.
Responsibilities
- Directly Implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
- Incorporate sensory activities into the session (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
- Record client data into Central Reach program
- Convert appointments into billing
- Write detailed SOAP notes
- Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA
- Attend weekly performance goal meetings with CEO
- Attend Quarterly in‑service trainings and team bonding activities
- General cleaning and sanitizing duties

Qualifications
- Must obtain RBT certification from the BACB within 6 months of hire (training videos and exam fee provided by SOS)
- Business casual uniform: polo shirts provided, to be worn with SOS‑approved scrub bottoms; closed‑toe shoes required, no jewelry
Pay
- Sign‑on bonus: None
- Regular pay: $21/hour (W2, non‑exempt)
- Overtime: 1.5× regular pay for hours >40/week, paid every other Friday via direct deposit
- Initial 5‑day training (orientation, shadow sessions, required certifications) compensated at state minimum wage; after completion pay transitions to the agreed hourly rate
- Intern hourly rate is a flat rate; not eligible for wage increases
- Performance assessment every 6 months to evaluate clinical growth and eligibility for future promotion upon graduation
