About the role
Gateway Pediatric Therapy is expanding its services to include community-based behavioral treatment services through the Behavior Management Services (BMS) Program. We are seeking BCBAs who can deliver evidence-based caregiver and staff training, and behavior support plan monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Create appropriate programming for clients based on initial and ongoing assessments and needs.
- Implement treatment according to the treatment plan authorized by the insurance funder.
- Maintain clinical requirements for behavior treatment plan monitoring as per insurance funders' credentialing requirements and Gateway policies.
- Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and design top quality treatment programs aligned with Gateway policies and organizational philosophy.
- Provide high quality caregiver and staff training.
- Develop and implement plans and interventions using person-centered planning and cultural competency.
- Collaborate with other professionals from different disciplines.
- Determine appropriate and effective techniques for treatment plans.
- Oversee and maintain accurate records and reports for internal and external processes.
- Attend client treatment team meetings and develop treatment recommendations.
- Maintain credentialing and licensing as required by state laws and the BACB.
- Participate in required trainings and conferences to stay compliant with policies.
- Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Gateway policies.
- Work cooperatively with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Report directly to the Director of Behavior Management Services and the Senior Regional Director of Macomb/Wayne Regions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Behavior Analysis certification and ability to supervise students.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
- One or more years of supervisory, leadership, or management experience.
- Experience developing behavior treatment plans, especially with experience in presenting plans to behavior treatment committees (BTCs).
- No criminal history preventing employment.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to drive for work.
- Availability for 2-3 evenings per week.
- At least two years of computer experience.
- Experience with severe behavior assessment and treatment.
- Familiarity with consultative behavior treatment planning.
- Two years of experience in behavioral health settings.
