Mindful Sprouts is hiring for BCBA positions in Sunrise FL. This role involves supporting children with exceptionalities through individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a BCBA, you will work in various settings including homes, schools, and communities.
Responsibilities
- Administer, conduct, evaluate, and supervise the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures.
- Develop individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and school-based programs and design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
- Teach Registered Behavioral Technicians the proper implementation of clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems, and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems.
- Conduct regular caregiver and/or teacher training.
- Be responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conduct weekly supervision meetings with Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Update client program and materials.
- Arrive at appointments, meetings, training, etc. at the scheduled time and return phone calls, electronic mail, and other correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Conduct self in a professional manner and treat all clients, customers, co-workers, and others with dignity, respect, and in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Meet regularly with Clinical Director and notify her/him immediately of issues impacting the client’s progress and satisfaction.
- Maintain records in accordance with policies and procedures and complete all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain a billable caseload and document billable hours according to state and federal regulation.
- Participate in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial to Mindful Sprouts and professional growth.
- Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of Mindful Sprouts.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, social work, speech-language pathology, or related field required; Ph.D. preferred.
- BCBA certification and/or licensed professional.
- At least 1 year of experience serving individuals with ASDs or related diagnoses with a full range of skills and abilities (preferred).
- Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior-analytic therapies.
- Experience with staff training and supervision.
- Excellent writing and communication skills; highly organized with the ability to multitask.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Must have successfully passed a criminal background screening.
