Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and effective ABA therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Adhere to evidence-based methodologies and ethical codes, ensuring interventions are supported by research and respecting the client’s best interests.
- Maintain a high level of objectivity, especially under challenging conditions.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Engage families with compassion and build a rapport to embrace parent training.
- Implement and follow all Safety-Care Physical Management procedures safely.
Requirements
- Absolutely must be a compassionate individual with a passion to help those that are vulnerable to societal challenges.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Vocal, written, and interpersonal skills are vital to the organization’s culture of teamwork, staff development, quality of services, and family engagement.
- Able to stand, kneel, squat, walk, run, jump, and engage with students for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift/support 75 lbs.
- Able to implement all Safety-Care Physical Management procedures safely.
- Work closely with the clinical team, including development of skills, while working directly with clients.
Qualifications
