About the role
SenseSational Learning Group is a BCBA-owned and operated neurodiversity-affirming ABA practice specializing in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI). We prioritize play-based, child-led approaches that honor each individual's unique way of being. In addition to in-home services, we are building a collaborative community hub designed for connection, parent support, and social development across ages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop collaborative intervention plans
- Implement naturalistic, play-based interventions in natural environments
- Partner with families as true collaborators (not just "trainers")
- Coach parents, caregivers, and teachers on neurodiversity-affirming strategies
- Facilitate and help develop skills-based group sessions (social groups, parent groups, and community-based programming)
- Participate in team collaboration and clinical connection through our shared workspace and team meetings
Requirements
- BCBA or BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- Michigan state licensure
- Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Strong foundation in NDBI and natural environment teaching
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, ethical ABA practice
- Early childhood development expertise
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis tools
Skills
- Strong observational and assessment skills
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual needs
- Proficiency in using ABA software and tools
