Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

About the role

Benchmark is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral supports to clients and staff in the Georgia Mobile Crisis Support Program. This position offers hands-on engagement with individuals and staff outside of a typical clinical setting, supporting people with disabilities to become more independent and involved in their community. The BCBA must be flexible with their schedule to provide services, supports, care, and treatment as required, including supervision of staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the Mobile Crisis Team and assist in Crisis Support Home and Intensive Support services.
• Provide documentation of behavioral services delivered.
• Conduct direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training, including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, and replacement behaviors.
• Maintain systems for collecting objective data on client skills and needs, as well as program-specific information and key data points.
• Complete functional assessments and develop/implement Behavioral Support Plans (BSP).
• Consult after discharge and modify BSPs as necessary.
• Seek input and maintain effective communication with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), LSW Team Leader, and supervisor.
• Attend agency, departmental, and client-specific meetings as directed, including psychiatric appointments and inpatient discharge meetings.
• Train direct support staff on implementing individual behavioral support plans and related data collection.
• Supervise and assist in the transport of individuals in crisis and review all incidents of physical intervention.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Assist the LCSW in case management functions and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, or a related field.
• Current BCBA License/Certification OR a BA with completed field hours.
• Preferred: two years’ experience with behavior supports evaluation and services for adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Technology proficiency.
• Must maintain any applicable licenses, training, and certifications.
