Board Certified Behavior Analyst - ABA Services (Butte, MT)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and provide professional learning in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based methodologies for clients with behavior difficulties.
• Plan and oversee the development and implementation of programs, policies, and best practices using ABA principles for clients with ASD and other disabilities.
• Conduct behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments.
• Assist staff with the development and implementation of behavior plans and ABA programs for clients with ASD or other disabilities facing behavior or learning challenges.
• Work directly with clients exhibiting inappropriate behaviors and provide support and training for staff working with these clients.
• Provide professional learning and training for employees in mandatory areas as required by A.W.A.R.E., Inc.
• Manage a caseload and travel within the assigned geographical area to deliver services.
• Demonstrate consistent ability to meet fiscal goals, including billing, caseload maintenance, and weekly targets.
• Record notes, billing units, assessments, referrals, and other data in AWARE’s Electronic Healthcare Record System.
• Evaluate training packages for organizational and individual usefulness.
• Confer with management to understand work situations and adapt training for employees regarding policy, procedure, regulation, or technology changes.
• Utilize audio and video equipment to develop training programs.
• Plan, organize, and implement projects, including scheduling people, places, and events.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agencies, and the public.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Five years of direct work experience.
• Certification in behavior analysis (BCBA).
• Maintain professional licensure and/or certification as required by state and federal governing boards.
• Valid Montana Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Pass a criminal and protective services background check.
