Responsibilities

  • Develop materials and provide resources for professional learning in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based methodologies for clients with behavior difficulties.
  • Plan and oversee the development and implementation of programs, policies, and best practices using ABA principles for clients with ASD and other disabilities.
  • Provide behavioral assessments and assist staff with the development and implementation of behavior plans and ABA programs.
  • Work with clients exhibiting inappropriate behaviors and provide support and professional learning for staff working with such clients.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and provide professional learning for staff.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of cognitive, educational, vocational, and social challenges faced by persons with disabilities.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects effectively.
  • Use audio and video equipment to develop training programs.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agencies, and the public.
  • Manage workshops, presentations, and scheduling of people, places, and events.
  • Evaluate training packages for organizational and individual usefulness.
  • Confer with management to understand work situations and train employees on policy, procedure, regulation, and technology changes.
  • Train employees in A.W.A.R.E., Inc.’s specific and mandatory training areas or obtain these qualifications.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
  • Act as an effective and creative negotiator and problem solver.
  • Manage a caseload and travel within the assigned geographical area to provide services.
  • Consistently meet fiscal goals, including billing, caseload maintenance, and weekly targets.
  • Record notes, billing units, assessments, referrals, and other data in AWARE’s Electronic Healthcare Record System.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Five years of direct work experience.
  • Certification in behavior analysis (BCBA).
  • Maintain professional license and/or certification as required by state and federal governing boards.
  • Valid Montana Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Pass a criminal and protective services background check.

Pay

$70,000.00 per year to start.
