About the Role
The Business Office Assistant (BOA) plays a crucial role in supporting the business office operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Aiding in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard facility assets.
- Maximizing cash flow and meeting accounts receivable targets.
- Tracking and processing invoices accurately and promptly.
- Acting as a financial liaison between corporate departments and other staff, enhancing the effectiveness of audit and compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Experience: 1-2 years required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Understanding and Implementing Healthcare Reimbursement and Billing Principles: Essential.
- Knowledge of Nursing Practices, Procedures, Terminology, Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines: Essential.
- Nice to Have: Previous experience in long-term billing positions or similar, experience with PointClickCare.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1-2 Years Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable Experience.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Reimbursement and Billing Principles.
- Knowledge of Nursing Practices, Procedures, Terminology, Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
