BMX Instructor I - II - Youth
About the role
This position is responsible for the supervision and instruction of BMX programs. The BMX Instructor will develop lesson plans and evaluate and assess skill level and progress of all participants. This position may require shifts ranging from morning to evening hours.

Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or fifteen (15) years of age for the BMX Instructor position.
- Must have at least three (3) years of previous experience in assigned area of structured programming.
- Experience may be achieved through BMX riding, teaching, coaching and/or competing in assigned field.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of BMX including rules and regulations.
- A good understanding of BMX including the principles, practice, and techniques.
- The ability to make proper calls on command and the ability to accept criticism.
- The ability to handle participants, team managers and/or coaches under difficult situations.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, various community organizations, and the public.
Skills
- Knowledge of BMX rules and regulations.
- Understanding of BMX principles, practice, and techniques.
- Ability to make proper calls on command.
- Ability to accept criticism.
- Ability to handle participants, team managers, and/or coaches under difficult situations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

About Us
