BMO / X-Ray Tech - South Lakeland Urgent Care

Position Details

Location: South Lakeland, FL
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Schedule: Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation. This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to providers during patient examinations, procedures, treatments, and x-ray/imaging services.
• Collects and prepares patient histories, performs routine laboratory procedures, and transports specimens to the lab.
• Follows up on test orders and communicates results to providers and patients, furnishes and maintains patient education materials, and maintains medical equipment.
• Orders clinical supplies and creates and maintains patient electronic medical records (EMR).
• Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.
• Supports both front and back-office duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BLS Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO) certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
