Position Summary

Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments, and examine student learning. Learn and use online course management system - Canvas. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (i.e. office hours). Submit grades to the Registrar at the end of the semester.

Prerequisites

  • M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field required.
  • Ph.D. preferred with previous college teaching experience.
  • Industrial experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience with LabVIEW.

Compensation

The rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour (USD).

NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, or other items.

This position is exempt under FLSA. Time Type: Part time. Pay Rate: Stipend.
