Essential Functions

• Develop and deliver lectures
• Prepare and grade assignments
• Design examination of student learning
• Learn and use Moodle
• Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (ie office hours)
• Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester

Prerequisite Qualifications

• M.S. degree in Biology or Biomedical Engineering or related fields
• At the university's discretion, an equivalent combination of education and experience in Biomedical Engineering may be considered

Salary Information

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
