About the role
MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a BluePrint Assessment Specialist to support the mission of "Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!" The ideal candidate will have strong interviewing, engagement, and motivational interviewing skills, along with experience in intake, case management, or workforce development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- Two years’ experience in intake, case management, or workforce development required
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications required; case management software experience preferred
- Valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
- Ability to travel within Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Eastern Kansas
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Receive and review all incoming BluePrint referrals
- Create and maintain employee records in the case management system, Click
- Initiate contact with referred employees within established program timeframes
- Conduct onsite and virtual initial meetings to introduce the BluePrint Program and explain available services, confidentiality, voluntary participation, and program expectations
- Ensure employees have a clear understanding of the program to support informed decision-making regarding enrollment
- Complete the Pathways Assessment for all enrolled referrals to identify employee needs, barriers, strengths, and goals
- Facilitate completion of all required enrollment and consent documentation for employees who elect to participate
- Prepare completed intake files and conduct a warm handoff to the assigned BluePrint Specialist
- Close referrals appropriately when employees decline participation, are ineligible, or cannot be engaged after documented outreach efforts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal and external resources and guide employees in accessing these supports
- Maintain strict confidentiality protocols, only disclosing information under legally or ethically mandated circumstances
- Reinforce employee autonomy and ensure all participation is voluntary
- Coordinate regularly with managers to maintain alignment with staffing schedules and ensure availability during employee shifts
- Participate in program evaluation efforts by capturing impact data and contributing to outcome reporting
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program improvement efforts
- Follow and enforce all MERS/Goodwill policies and procedures
