As a Welder I, you will gain essential skills in steel fabrication, repair, and installation under the guidance of experienced professionals. Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and performing basic welding operations under supervision.
• Learn to read and interpret simple blueprints and isometric drawings.
• Perform basic welding operations (e.g., tack welding, basic SMAW/GMAW) under supervision.
• Set up and maintain clean welding stations and equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations.
• Follow strict safety protocols and participate in team safety meetings.
• Keep accurate work logs and assist with project documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical welding training preferred (enrolled or completed).
• No prior industry experience necessary; internships or hands-on practice are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Minimal travel may be required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in variable environmental conditions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, Fit for Duty, and/or physical.
