Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components/systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services needed.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Ford technician certifications.
• CDK DMS experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the service drive.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Basic computer competencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.
