Job Summary
Frank Productions, LLC is looking for a Security to join their team part-time at the Blue Note and Rose Music Hall venues in Columbia, MO. Positions are available at a starting rate of $20/hr. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL DO
- Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and patrons
- Ensure safe and efficient ingress and egress into the venue
- Identify any issues or threats within the venue and report concerns to venue management
- Respond to security and safety needs in a timely manner
- Communicate clearly with staff, patrons, vendors, and clients about day-of-event needs
- Maintain an understanding of the venue Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow accordingly
- Auxiliary with opening and closing tasks of the relevant building
- Follow company protocol for the relevant building as communicated by venue management
- All other duties as assigned

- Applicable customer service skills working with a diverse set of customers
- Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision-making skills
- Ability to learn and work within systems such as MS Office, ticketing software, and other company software
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment that includes in-person collaboration, group communications, and instant messaging
- Ability to handle difficult situations and sensitive information with care and professionalism
- Professional and friendly demeanor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairs
- Utilization of hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment
- Lifts up to 50 pounds
- Crouches, kneels, bends, and reaches frequently
- Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise
- Regularly exposed to lighting changes including low lit areas, strobe lights, and moving lights
- Occasionally works in outdoor conditions
- Requires extended work hours
