About the role
The BLS/Heartsaver Instructor position is a pivotal role within our Health Street department, based in Houston, TX. This role is designed for a certified and passionate professional dedicated to delivering high-quality training in American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, AED, and First Aid courses. The instructor will engage with diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, corporate clients, and community members, ensuring they are equipped with essential life-saving skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver AHA-certified training programs with precision and adherence to established guidelines.
- Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment to maximize participant understanding and retention.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A current BLS Provider certification is mandatory.
- Certified experience in a medical field such as EMT-B, Medical Assistant, or other allied healthcare roles is preferred.
- A current AHA BLS Instructor certification is preferred; however, certification can be provided if not already obtained.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as data entry skills, is required.
Qualifications
