Clinical BLS/ACLS Instructor

Directives

• Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates Health Care Provider CPR, and or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification training.
• Provides educational instruction and testing on the principles and skills of Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support certification training as required by the American Heart Association.
• Evaluates students according to current AHA guidelines and materials; recommends appropriate remediation when necessary.
• Monitors participants' skill level and body mechanics during training sessions.
• Safeguards and sets up equipment in classroom or simulation settings.
• Prepares and submits all class-related forms in prescribed manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, professional training in Emergency Medical responder and/or equivalent experience.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• Two years of experience in training specified certification required.
• Adult education experience preferred.
• Current instructor affiliation with the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).

BLS $25 per hour or ACLS $35
