About the role

Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers, employer, customers, and suppliers. Ensure customer quality expectations are met and good parts are not discarded. Assist with on-the-job training of new associates, including proper job-specific methods, paperwork, and safety concerns. Follow all applicable IATF16949 quality procedures for injection molding production practices. Maintain a clean work area and perform cleanup duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply quality and production standards to assigned customer parts.
• Log all rejects and track production counts.
• Ensure product is packaged per defined standards; never package questionable products without supervisor approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English (preferred).
• Basic computer knowledge (advised).
• Proficiency in reading, writing, adding, and subtracting whole numbers; following instructions; and using fixed gauges or direct-reading instruments.
• Quality and quantity performance standards should be attained within 3 months under normal supervision.
• High school education and/or GED preferred.
