Blow Molding Operator 2nd or 3rd shifts

About the role

Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers, employer, customers, and suppliers. Ensure acceptable attendance and learn and apply quality and production standards to assigned customer parts. Log all rejects and track production counts to meet customer quality expectations while ensuring good parts are not discarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-the-job training of new associates, including proper job-specific methods, paperwork, and safety concerns.
• Follow job-specific responsibilities and package products according to defined standards; never package questionable products without supervisor or quality personnel approval.
• Learn and follow all applicable IATF16949 quality procedures for injection molding production practices.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform cleanup as assigned; if work area goes down, immediately clean until reassigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education and/or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge advised.
• Effective oral and written communication in English preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, basic arithmetic, following instructions, and using fixed gauges or direct-reading instruments.
• Quality and quantity performance standards should be attained within 3 months under normal supervision.
