Set up, monitor, and adjust multiple blow mold machines to produce plastic milk bottles safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Set up monitors and adjust blow mold machines to ensure safe and accurate molding of plastic milk bottles.
  • Identify potential defects and make adjustments to machinery via HMI screen and physical adjustments to meet specifications.
  • Visually inspect all plastic milk bottles for defects.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines, including:
    • Use of personal protective equipment.
    • Safe operation of machinery and equipment.
    • Reporting hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
    • Active participation in safety trainings and drills.
    • Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols.
    • Demonstrate awareness of surroundings to ensure personal and team safety.
  • Successfully accomplish work assignments and prioritize tasks using company policies and available resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Carry out assigned tasks while communicating progress and relevant information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.20 - $30.30. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
