About the Role

As a Precision Technician, you’ll operate and set up friction manufacturing equipment, including IAG Press, high-variety finish lines, robotic baggers, ADB Compound, and other assigned machinery. You’ll work alongside a team of problem-solvers dedicated to making a tangible impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules, using required PPE, and keeping the work area clean.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Inspect product quality; investigate and correct issues, and notify leadership of unacceptable results.
  • Accurately record scrap data and enter computer data for job tickets, production logs, and other requirements.
  • Operate machinery per standard work requirements and follow written/verbal instructions from leadership.
  • Maintain 5S standards and machine condition.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete PMs/autonomous maintenance as required.
  • Produce required daily work quantities and adjust pace to meet deadlines.
  • Perform additional assigned duties in alignment with company values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certification.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (5+ years preferred).
  • Successful completion of basic skills test, drug screens, background checks, and physical demands testing.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics (including decimals and fractions).
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions with a high level of precision.
  • Experience reading and interpreting precise measuring instruments.
  • Strong teamwork and computer skills.

Physical Demands

  • Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs. (up to 1,200 times in an 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, carrying, and overhead movement.
  • Ability to work in a heated environment and climb stairs multiple times per day.
  • Ability to work at heights.
