Blenzer Service Tech

About the role

Statco-DSI, a division of ProMach, has an immediate opening for an experienced Blenzer Service Technician based out of our St. Louis, MO office. This role involves getting field equipment back up and running, as close to new as possible, and requires significant travel to serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of instrumentation and process to ensure the best outcome for customers
• Re-calibrate and/or correct instrumentation errors in the field
• Perform repairs/rebuilds of production equipment in accordance with industry standards
• Inspect equipment/components and systems using diagnostic tools and training
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair systems/equipment
• Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Build & maintain customer relationships at the plant level

Requirements

• Two or more years experience in a related field, preferably with OEM equipment in the Food, Beverage &/or Pharmaceutical industries
• Experience with equipment instrumentation including set-up & maintenance
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Some mechanical aptitude, particularly with equipment, pumps & valves
• Ability to build & maintain long-standing professional relationships, providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, even in a high pressure environment
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%

Qualifications

Two or more years experience in a related field, preferably with OEM equipment in the Food, Beverage &/or Pharmaceutical industries

Experience with equipment instrumentation including set-up & maintenance

Familiarity with manufacturing processes
