Responsibilities
- Transport bales of fiber using a squeeze lift
- Make partial bales according to a recipe
- Load bales onto a conveyor
- Remove chokes from various machinery components
- Ensure correct shop orders and blends are being processed
- Absorb and assist card operators during changeovers
- Operate computerized blend valve system
- Assist technicians and mechanics with maintenance and repairs
- Clean equipment as needed throughout the shift
- Drive a lift truck as needed throughout the shift
Requirements
- Ability to work Sunday-Thursday nights from 11pm to 7am
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic computer skills to operate the blend valve system
