Blending- Material Handler 3rd Shift

About the role

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders by supplying materials and ready to package product to the Packaging lines, and finished goods to the Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move product from Blending to Packaging and from Packaging to Warehouse.
• Supply empty pallets and materials to pack lines as needed to keep packing lines operating.
• Assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/bags onto a pallet.
• Lift up to 25 – 55 lbs. continuously.
• Assist in dumping of product at deck as needed, requiring pushing/pulling 100+ lbs.
• Assist as packer operator as needed.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain integrity of raw materials.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift up to 80 lbs.
• Willing to work 12‑hour shifts and weekends.
• Must not have an aversion to heights.
• Ability to type to operate a computer to enter and run reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education, training or experience (GED).
• 6+ months’ experience in a food production/food manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Mathematical and problem‑solving skills to successfully perform the job.

Pay

Salary starting at $20.21 to $25.27 an hour.
