Blend Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Shift Operator at Maola is responsible for overseeing the blending process, adhering to food safety and quality assurance protocols, and ensuring the smooth operation of blending equipment.

Responsibilities

• Batching in the production of finished dairy goods according to mix batching schedules and formulations.
• Maintaining compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures.
• Operating and troubleshooting blending equipment as needed.
• Monitoring and reporting on product quality parameters such as fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopy.
• Ensuring adherence to HACCP plans and conducting system verification and monitoring activities.
• Preparing and maintaining batch records and area paperwork.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Communicating and collaborating with other employees and departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or International Education Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to operate and troubleshoot blending equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shift: 12:00pm-8:30pm, with flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
