Blaster -1st Shift
About the role
Build Your Career with an Award-Winning Team! Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results? We're looking for a reliable, motivated Blaster to join our production team in Dubuque, IA.
Responsibilities
- Operate media blast machines safely and efficiently.
- Prepare products for coating according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Follow job travelers and production schedules to keep production running smoothly.
- Transport product bins using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensure products receive proper treatment to prevent rust and coating defects.
- Complete daily production logs and required documentation.
- Conduct routine safety walks and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Work closely with teammates to meet production goals and communicate effectively across shifts.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready.
- Cross-train in other production areas and assist other departments as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 65 lbs, and rarely up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and elevated temperatures.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and move throughout an entire shift.
Preferred Skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Great attention to detail.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow directions and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

$19.00/hour
Schedule
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Work Environment
- This position is performed in a production/warehouse setting and requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the day.
- You'll work around industrial equipment, chemicals, and warm conditions while following established safety procedures.
