The Black Hawk is designed to ensure reliability, low maintenance, high availability, and enhanced survivability in the most austere and remote forward operating bases supporting our Army and International Foreign Military Operators (FMS).

The Black Hawk Modernization Associate Program Manager (APM) will be responsible for leading the critical effort to modernize capabilities for the Army’s warfighter. Sikorsky is working with the US Army on a shared roadmap of capability improvements to the Black Hawk. These upgrades will be available through new production aircraft and/or as kits for existing aircraft. The capability enhancements are intended to create asymmetric advantage over peer adversaries by expanding Black Hawk capability, weaponizing the platform, and incorporating autonomy.

The Black Hawk Modernization Associate Program Manager will be responsible for executing new capability contract work. In this role, the BH Modernization Associate Program Manager will also develop and acquire pending and ongoing utility helicopter business, specifically pursuits for capability insertion.

This Program Manager requires strong communication skills, exceptional customer focus, executive presence, and the ability to build teams. The candidate must be able to excel in a dynamic work environment and be able to contribute to many different aspects of the program.
