POSITION SUMMARY: Manages and directs the Middle School play, which consists of three performances. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Determine the play choice alongside the school administration.Conduct a play tryout to determine appropriate cast membersDevelop each member of the cast to understand their role and develop their characterDetermine stage blocking and flow of the moving parts of the playHelp create and find stage props and costumesManage lighting and sound needs on the stageWork alongside administration for performance expectations and needs Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Vibrant walk with the LordAn understanding of directing a playAn understanding of how to work with Middle School studentsStrong organization skillsStrong communication skills An applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
