Bistro Attendant - Courtyard by Marriott Central Islip

About the role

The Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast casual concept restaurant offering a variety of to-go items, sit-down fare, cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. The Bistro team members are responsible for preparing food, serving beverages, and managing customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food using the menu and presentation specs
• Prepare Starbucks coffee drinks and other beverages
• Handle alcohol service for Bistro customers
• Master a wide range of Food and Beverage functions
• Provide top-tier guest service
• Follow all sanitation procedures
• Work in a team environment
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Have excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Requirements

• Desire to learn and cook
• Experience in a restaurant setting (optional)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Positive attitude and people-minded leadership

Pay

Earnings Range: $17.00 an hour, plus tips. Actual rate offered will be based upon job title, experience, location, and position.

Schedule

Part time and full time positions available, with flexibility to work any day of the week and any shift in the AM or PM, including weekends and holidays.
