Summary Of The Sales Manager Position
The Sales Manager will assist and lead the Sales Team with executing targeted sales programs to drive pre-sold group business. Responsibilities include:
- Interface with clients on all aspects of group events, including site inspections, site tours, client meetings, menu selection, contracts, and hospitality/trade events.
- Represent Andretti Indoor Karting & Games (AIKG) at trade events.
- Process POS purchases and ensure a quality guest event experience.
- Build productive relationships with clients and guests.
- Identify business opportunities and establish contacts.
- Lead generation and follow-up efforts.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly individual goals.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
- Experience with inbound sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
Qualifications
- Two years of sales experience in hospitality or a family entertainment center environment.
- An interest in and familiarity with virtual reality, arcade games, and motorsports.
- Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to communicate quickly and accurately using telephone, computer, and in person.
- The ability to move quickly throughout the entirety of AIKG location.
- The ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- The ability to organize, frequently bend, reach, turn, and lift.
- The ability to use manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
- The ability to understand, coach, and follow safety standards at all times.
