Qualifications & Prior Experience
- A Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline is required.
- Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patent portfolios, and performing due diligence investigations.
- Candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Experience in a law firm is desirable.
- Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, as well as outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
- Candidates should possess leadership skills, be comfortable working directly with clients, and work well with others.
- Candidates must be admitted to the patent bar, and associate candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Pay
- Associate: $235,000 - $365,000 per year
- Patient Agent: $150,000 to $185,000 per year
