Biotech IP Associate or Agent (Junior - Mid-Level) - Boston

Qualifications & Prior Experience

• A Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Chemistry, or a related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating patent portfolios, and performing due diligence investigations.
• Candidates must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Experience in a law firm is desirable.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, as well as outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
• Candidates should possess leadership skills, be comfortable working directly with clients, and work well with others.
• Candidates must be admitted to the patent bar, and associate candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Pay

• Associate: $235,000 - $365,000 per year
• Patient Agent: $150,000 to $185,000 per year
