Biorepository Research Coordinator - PM Biorepository

About the role

The Biorepository Research Coordinator I (BRC I) will play a key role in the ongoing operations of the Tampa General Hospital/USF Health Precision Medicine Biorepository (PMBioR).

Responsibilities

• Screening of potential patients for protocol eligibility
• Presenting, consenting and documenting the informed consent process
• Enrolling subjects to collect, prepare, preserve and manage diverse biological specimens
• Accurate and timely source documents, data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting
• Timely response to sponsor queries
• Support, facilitate and coordinate daily Biorepository activities
• Assist in low complexity, mild patient acuity cases with a moderate workload

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum one (1) year of patient facing responsibilities or one (1) year of experience working with biological samples and processing
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) (upon hire or within 3 months of hire)
• International Air Transport Association (IATA) Shipment of Biologic Specimens, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, or equivalent training (upon hire or within 3 months of hire)
