BIOMEDICAL TECHNICIAN I - SUPPLY CHAIN
About the role
The Biomedical Technician 1 will be responsible for the vetting operation, safety, maintenance, and quality assurance of patient care equipment as outlined by the Medical Equipment Plan and following organizational and departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair medical electronic equipment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Contribute to the quality assurance of patient care equipment
- Follow the Medical Equipment Plan and departmental guidelines
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent in Biomedical Electronics or Electronics Engineering Technology
- Certified Biomedical Electronics Technician (CBET) certification
- One year of experience maintaining and repairing medical electronic equipment
- Valid and current driver’s license
Qualifications

Skills
Detail-oriented. Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex medical equipment issues. Knowledge of medical equipment standards and regulations.
