About the role

Under the general supervision of the Biomedical Engineer, responsible for the duties relating to the vetting operation, safety, maintenance, and quality assurance of patient care equipment as outlined by the Medical Equipment Plan and following organizational and departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair medical electronic equipment
  • Ensure safety and quality assurance of patient care equipment
  • Follow organizational and departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Biomedical Electronics or Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Certified Biomedical Electronics Technician (CBET) certification
  • One year of experience maintaining and repairing medical electronic equipment

Qualifications

  • Valid and current driver’s license
