Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to meet regulatory and compliance requirements; ensure thorough documentation of all work performed.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through frequent communication to ensure resolution and follow-up.
- Care for tools and test equipment to ensure calibration and timely, accurate repairs.
- Identify and report customer quality or compliance concerns to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, or participation in the GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT, or mechanical equipment.
- Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro-mechanical devices.
- Proficiency in completing electronic documentation using tools like iPad or iPhone, and familiarity with programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Experience developing and maintaining customer relations at all levels (e.g., nurses, doctors, leadership).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Must comply with GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test, and adhere to customer access policies, including immunizations and additional screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Availability for after-hours or rotating on-call schedules, including weekends.
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Pay
For U.S.-based positions, the pay range for this role is $51,200.00–$76,800.00 annually. Compensation decisions depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
